When I wake up in the morning, the first thing to do is usually turning on my computer and open up news websites. Nothing encouraging lately, it's all about murdering cases, people died, the Iraq war ... etc. Are there actually ANY good things happening in this world now ?
I have been quite moody lately, and reading these news aren't helping. Then I switch to watch Atashin'chi, thank God for this cartoon, I like it so much, I'm already at a stage that if you show me 10 seconds of an episode I can tell you what it is about. Mrs Tachibana (花師奶) is such an energetic person who always stays positive. She inspires me for a lot of things and helped me through difficult times - you really don't know how much it helped me when I could play it in the background at work - well at least her funny voice covers surrounding 'noises' and saved my life (mentally). Lol, yeah I know I'm a little exaggerated, but really, Atashin'chi rocks! I love it so much, please don't stop broadcasting!
Not in a pessimistic way like I have been. We only live once, yesterday is past and what is done, is done. There is nothing we can change and there is very little use of looking back and 'learn' the lesson, you learn it by getting it right next time. I always have list of tasks I want to do and a pile of books I bought and 'thought' I'd read them through but never touched. Yes, I can explain that because I'm one of those people who collect books and love to add them to their bookshelf collections - Oh, not to mention that I don't actually have a bookshelf. I don't think you should satisfy with the answer - I'm like this, this is just me. If something is not right, fix it. Nothing is perfect, I know, but perhaps we (or most of the time, I) should try a little harder before accepting the 'fact'? Instead of setting a new list of new year resolutions, I think we should clear out those we stocked up a year ago. Instead of saying what we will do tomorrow, let's get cracking today and get something done, today. Now I have 23 hours 19 mins left. How long do you have left?
